Strengthening Global Aerospace Connections at Farnborough 2026
We have completed another successful week at the Farnborough International Airshow, widely regarded as one of the most important events in the global aerospace calendar.
The exhibition provided the perfect opportunity for us to showcase our high-performance nickel alloys alongside some of the aerospace industry’s most innovative and respected companies.
Throughout the week, we met with customers, suppliers and industry partners from across the UK, USA, Italy, France, Switzerland and beyond. We discussed a wide range of new and upcoming projects, as well as how we can continue supporting the international aerospace supply chain throughout the remainder of 2026 and into the future.
Representing Alloy Wire International at the event were Paul Chatterley and Oliver Smith from our sales team, Managing Director Tom Mander and Finance Director Adam Shaw.
We were delighted to be hosted on the Midlands Aerospace Alliance stand, alongside fellow members committed to supporting the continued development of the aerospace industry and strengthening the UK’s position within the global market.
The event also allowed us to reconnect with familiar faces, establish new relationships and see some of the latest aerospace technology first-hand. The impressive flying demonstrations once again proved to be one of the highlights of the week.
Our retro glider giveaways also attracted plenty of attention. They were particularly popular during Friday’s Future Pioneers Day, when we handed out approximately 300 gliders in just 30 minutes to the next generation of aerospace talent.
Farnborough 2026 proved to be another thoroughly enjoyable and productive event for our team.
We want to thank everyone who visited the stand, as well as the Midlands Aerospace Alliance for hosting us throughout the week.
We now look forward to continuing the conversations started at Farnborough and supporting new and existing aerospace customers with their material requirements throughout 2026 and beyond.
